Global Tributes to Bush...A Statue in Iraq

This is how we can remember W: fittingly, the people of Iraq have erected a statue to commemorate the man who undoubtedly had such impact on all Iraqis.

I must admit, it's kinda awesome. Photo,  over the jump.

Maybe there'll be a corresponding one outside the George W. Bush presidential library, in Tikrit's "sister city" of Dallas, TX?

Throwing things a our leaders is not a joke. What if someone gets hurt? Today a shoe was thrown at a Chinese leader. Will you laugh when it's someone you support, and they are injured?

It's weird that Momocrats doesn't cover the important issues...Where are the stories about the stimulus package? By asking this will I be moderated?

TinyMarie, I see by the time-date stamp that you must've missed the post dated Feb 2, 2009, 1:29 pm where I did discuss part of the economic stimulus package.

Here, I'll give you the link: http://momocrats.typepad.com/momocrats/2009/02/dear-vice-president-biden-an-idea-for-a-job-in-the-green-economy-home-energy-auditors.html

And no, I don't think shoe-throwing is a joke. Neither is all the ordnance we've rained down on Iraq in the name of "weapons of mass destruction," which they never had and was Bush's lie from the start.

But I do find a statue in the shape of a golden shoe pretty funny.

No, I don't think shoe-throwing is a joke. Neither is the ordnance we've unloaded on the country of Iraq, in the name of "weapons of mass destruction" which they never had in their possession. And which was Bush's lie from the outset.

But a golden shoe statue? Pretty funny.
