Well put Maggie and I hope you all enjoy the day and evening there. I’ll probably just watch fireworks from my front yard although sometimes me and acouple friends know a spot where you can watch all the community fireworks at once although I haven’t really talked to anyone today so we’ll see what happens.

This is the culture where it is perfectly acceptable for a politician like Rand Paul to call people who criticize corporations “un-American.” This is the culture where BP and Massey are hardly alone in their disregard for their employees. This is the culture where the good corporate actors – and yes, there actually are a few – are increasingly warned that they aren’t “competitive.” This is the culture where workers are once again, disposable.

I’ve truly enjoyed reading your blog posts. You obviously know your stuff. I also really like it that your website is very simple to navigate. I have bookmarked it in my favorites and will for sure be back for more.
