Need Some Inspiration? MOMocrats Will Help You Get to the WIE Symposium in New York City!

The deadline for the giveaway has passed and comments are now closed on this post. Congratulations to readers Sarah and Abigail, who will be attending the WIE Conference in New York this weekend.

Wie-headerYou probably know we don't do a whole lot of giveaways here at MOMocrats, but some offers are too good to turn down.

MOMocrats have a chance to give two of our readers a full pass (a $600 value) to the Women: Inspiration & Enterprise Symposium in New York City September 18-19.  Sadly we can't get you to the Big Apple, but if you can get yourself there, leave us a comment below and we will draw two lucky winners at random who can spend a couple of days being inspired by the likes of Queen Rania of Jordan, Melinda Gates, Christy Turlington, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, and many other amazing and accomplished women.

Tempted?  I'll further tempt you by telling you that some of the topics include,The Power of Social Media, Women in Media, Getting Women Off the Sidelines, and Advocacy and Making a Difference.

Thanks so much to the WIE conference for making this giveaway possible.  If I lived a little closer to New York City, you KNOW I'd be there! Think you could use a little inspiration (and maybe get a little shopping in while you're in Soho?), leave a comment below (make sure to include your E-mail address so we can contact you if you win!) by 5 p.m. E.S.T. on Thursday, September 15, 2011 and we'll see who gets to hang out with some inspiring women for a couple of days!

I couldn't make it, even if I won. Great giveaway--here's hoping that the people that need to be there the most, win!!!!

COOL!

WOW. Yes, it would be awesome to go.

Only live 2 hours away. I would be honored to attend!

I live in NYC and have been wishing (and hoping and praying) for a chance to go to WIE! What an honor it would be to attend!

I'd be interested; thanks! Leonie Haimson

Wow. That sounds pretty cool.

How wonderful! I'd love love love to go to WIE! Could definitely use some inspiration these days.

It would be a great honor to attend WIE! I am in NYC and would love to participate. Such an inspirational group of speakers and leaders represented, and important issues to discuss. Thanks for offering 2 passes.

I would love to attend... What a great opportunity.

As a young nonprofit professional who would never be able to buy tickets to this event on my own, this would be such an amazing opportunity!

Dying to go to this! Such a fantastic line up and agenda!

I'd love to attend as well! Would love the opportunity to live tweet and blog about the event for my site!

I spend most days trying to find ways to help women in Guyana, South America. I write a column on women's issues in that country, though I live in the US. I travel there once a month to learn more about the culture and to help women who are victims and survivors of domestic violence. I would love to attend the Symposium to learn more and share that knowledge with other women.

Sounds amazing! I host a weekly radio show and try to highlight great accomplished women making a difference in the world. I live in NYC and would love to attend! I am also an entrepreneur and physical therapist so this conference is right up my alley! Thanks!

That would be fantastic!

Would love to go. It sounds like a great event!

I would love to attend! I graduated college at a time when women became secretaries and men became bankers. Well, by the early eighties, I had decided enough was enough-I earned my MBA and became one of Chase's first women officers. Now, after staying home too long with the children, I am working outside the home and am active in local politics. I am interested in hearing all the fantastic women speaking at the conference, especially Senator Gillibrand who I feel has advanced women in the political sphere. I also would be inspired by the stories of other women, perhaps not as well known as the panelists, those fellow attendees like myself-I would be like to hear their stories of achievement.
